How to Use Snapchat Bitmoji
The new Snapchat update lets you put Bitmoji in your Snapchat snaps. You can spruce up your photos and videos in Snapchat using custom Bitmoji stickers and if your Snapchat friends also use Bitmoji they can use special FriendMoji. In March 2017 Snapchat added more Bitmoji support with a new Snapchat widget for iPhone and iPad.
We’ll show you how to use Bitmoji in Snapchat so that you can start adding a personal touch to all your Snaps. You can also send Bitmoji in Snapchat chats.

Your friends don’t need Bitmoji installed for you to add Bitmoji to Snapchat photos or videos, but they do need it installed for FriendMoji.

Here’s what you need to do to make sure Bitmoji and Snapchat are BFFs.
Download Snapchat & Bitmoji Updates
You’ll need to download the latest Snapchat update and the Bitmoji update to make this work. You can find the apps free in the Google Play Store or iTunes. If you have automatic updates turned on, you may already have these versions.
Link Your Snapchat & Bitmoji Accounts
This is the step where you may run into trouble. You need to open the Snapchat app and go to Settings.
There you should see an option to link your Snapchat accounts. If you see the option, you can link your accounts and you’ll be ready to start using Bitmoji in Snapchat.
Use Bitmoji in Snapchat
Tap on the sticker button in Snapchat.
Once the accounts are linked you can use Bitmoji in Snapchat chats or add them to your Snaps.
To add a Bitmoji to a Snap. You first need to take a Snap. On the screen where you can add emoji and stickers to your Snap, tap on the Sticker button.
Tap on a Bitmoji to add to your Snap.
This will open up a menu showing you a lot of Bitmoji choices. Tap on one and you can add it to the Snap.
You can add multiple Bitmoji to a Snap and reposition them for a fun or funny way to spruce up your photos.
Pinch and zoom to make Bitmoji stickers larger or smaller in Snapchat. You can rotate them as well to make them fit the Snap perfectly.
How to Use Snapchat Bitmoji Widget
You can use the new Snapchat Bitmoji widget on the today screen for the iPhone and to any screen on Android. The directions are different for iPhone and Android, and you may run into issues if you don’t have a Snapchat Best Friend who uses Bitmoji. You’ve been warned.
How to use Snapchat widget on iPhone.
On the iPhone slide over to the today screen. Scroll to the bottom and tap on edit and then scroll to find Snapchat. Tap on the plus. Then you can scroll back up to the widgets to move it where you want using the small slider options on the right of the screen.
On Android press and hold anywhere on an empty part of your screen. Tap on Widgets and then find the Snapchat Widget. Choose if you want to show one friend or multiple friends. Put the widget on your home screen. Tap and hold to change the location.
Snapchat Best Friends are the friends you talk to the most. You will need Snapchat Best friends for this to show up and to work.
