If you're installing macOS Ventura for the first time, you'll get some very useful upgrades to the stock Mail application.

Two of the more useful changes include the ability to schedule emails ahead of time as well as the ability to cancel delivery of a message before it reaches a recipient’s inbox.

Other changes include a feature that detects if you forgot to include an important part of an email message like an attachment, vastly improved Search, and the ability to resurface a message at any date and time with Remind Later.

Apple says Follow Up suggestions will also automatically remind you to follow up on an email if you haven't received a response.
