Perhaps the single most important thing here is the price. If there's one downside it's that the Galaxy S10+ is expensive. Like, really expensive.
Samsung's new Galaxy S10 and S10+ went on sale on March 8th and is readily available right now. The Galaxy S10+ starts at $999 with 128GB of storage. However, the OnePlus 7 Pro release date is May 17th and it's very aggressively priced to take on Samsung, Apple, and even the upcoming Pixel 4.
- Regular Galaxy S10 – $899
- Galaxy S10+ with 8GB of RAM and 128GB Storage - $999
- Galaxy S10+ with 512GB storage - $1,249
- OnePlus 7 Pro with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage - $669
- OnePlus 7 Pro with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage - $699
- OnePlus 7 Pro 12GB RAM and 256GB - $749
Basically, the comparison comes down to this -- you can get the Galaxy S10+ for $999 or get a device with virtually the same specs from OnePlus for $699. However, this is also the most expensive phone we've ever seen from OnePlus. Typically they stay around $550-$650, so this is out of character. That said, they're offering a compelling package here, that we think people will be ok with paying. You're getting a Galaxy S10+ or iPhone Xs Max-type experience for less than the iPhone Xr or Galaxy S10e.
OnePlus' best phone is cheaper than Samsung or Apple's cheapest flagship. Either way, the OnePlus 7 Pro is about $329 cheaper than the Galaxy S10+. It's only available from T-Mobile int he United States, but you can buy the OnePlus 7 Pro unlocked at OnePlus.com and use it on any carrier in the US, including Verizon Wireless.

I had high hopes for the One Plus, but missing wireless charging, headphone jack and not being waterproof are a deal break for me.
I have an S8 and the S10+ will be my next phone.
