7 Reasons to Buy the iPhone XS & 3 Reasons to Wait
Buy for the Best Software Support
If you plan on keeping your next iPhone for a long time you might want to think about going with a newer model like the iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max. If you typically wait three, four, or even five years to upgrade your phone, these phones should have a lot of appeal. Apple isn't advertising this on its website as one of the iPhone XS' key features, but the device will get excellent software support for years to come. Apple typically keeps iPhones updated with new software for four, sometimes five years. Software support includes major OS upgrades with new features and it also means a constant stream of bug fixes and security patches for potential exploits. While it might be tempting to buy an older, cheaper iPhone, their software support will come to an end much sooner. Apple won't bring its iOS 13 upgrade to the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, or iPhone 5s and iOS 14 might be the end of the road for the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and original iPhone SE. The powerful hardware on board the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will also ensure that these devices get robust versions of Apple's next operating systems. iOS updates for older phones are often limited due to hardware limitations. And that will be the case with iOS 14.

Does the iPhone X still worth to buy when the new iPhone 2018 comes?

What about 5G? The new technology is coming quickly and they’re saying it will revolutionize the way we use smartphones. As far as I’ve read, iPhones aren’t 5G-ready, so dishing out over a grand for a phone that probably won’t be up to par in a year or so seems like a reckless move to me.
So that’s a third reason to wait ;)
