Another important area for potential buyers is the specs and features of a phone. Luckily, the OnePlus 6T runs stock Android similar to a Pixel, so this section is rather easy. We're not getting weird software overlays, Samsung skins in the way, or anything major. 

Plus, they're almost the same on the inside too, with the same powerful specs. That said, OnePlus easily beats Google's phone in raw power.

Keep in mind that Google's old Pixel 2 can already do more with 1 camera than most phones do with two. So Google sticking to a single rear camera isn't a concern or a reason to skip it. Especially now that we've seen all the neat features on board.

The biggest concern so far is that Google only put 4GB of RAM in the phone. Early reports show some memory problems, where even background apps like Spotify or Google Music get closed just by users trying to do something else on the phone. That's not good.

Which is why the OnePlus 6T with DOUBLE the RAM, offering 8GB, is huge. This will ensure smooth performance no matter what. Here's a video showing how big this problem is.

Additionally, OnePlus has a "base" model with only 6GB of RAM and the same 128GB of storage that's even more affordable. That said, all the other main models have 8GB of RAM, which is double the Pixel 3, and they all start with 128GB of storage.

Basically, the OnePlus 6T matches Google across the board while delivering decent cameras, a smaller notch, more RAM, more storage, an in-display fingerprint scanner and a few other things. What a tough choice. 

OnePlus is using two 1850 mAh battery cells combined to offer faster charging and a bigger 3,700 mAh battery. Giving it substantially better battery life than past models and a good edge over the Pixel 3 XL.
