Perhaps one of the biggest aspects of the new Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL is the fact that it has TWO cameras on the back, instead of just one. Plus, there is a spectral sensor on the back Google is using for some fancy stuff too. 

One of our favorite new features aside from Astrophotography mode is the Super High Res Zoom. On top of the 12MP camera Google added a 16MP Telephoto zoom lens that can do roughly 2x optical zoom, then use software to zoom in even closer. It's pretty wild. 

Combining the "Super Res Zoom" software with the 2x optical zoom of the new camera results in amazing photos and video. Google specifically said to ZOOM in on the phone and take a photo, and let the software do magic. Don't take a photo and crop it after. Zoom in and take the shot for the best results.
