If you aren't installing the macOS Big Sur beta on day one, you can look at feedback from developers and other users trying the developer beta before you upgrade. 

Forums and Twitter are an excellent place to look for this information. You can see feedback from other users on the same Mac that you have and using the same apps that you use. 

This can also help you understand any known issues or bugs that you will encounter. 

We recommend everyone look into feedback from users on Twitter and in the MacRumors forums, but this is especially important if you are on an old Mac that is just barely included in this update.
