A few years back Samsung introduced "Dex" which stands for Desktop Expansion. This was a dock that turns your Galaxy S8 into a computer-like experience. It was pretty nice, but things are even better on the S9. The Galaxy S9 and Samsung Dex Pad will completely turn your phone into a powerful computer and gaming device. With Dex Pad (on S9) your phone becomes a trackpad and mouse for navigation or a virtual keyboard. The Dex Pad allows output over HDMI with the full 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD resolution too, so everything looks even better. Basically, the "Dex Pad" is where you dock your Galaxy S9 and it charges while it's sitting on it. The Pad uses the phone as a touchpad, while also having HDMI-out ports for a monitor, and USB ports for things like a keyboard and mouse. The Galaxy 9 is a great phone unless you use finger print security. If restarts the fingerprint method doesn’t work and you must use a 4 character password which was forgotten.
