6 Reasons to Wait for the 2020 iPad Pro & 6 Reasons Not To
Wait for a New Camera | |||||||||||||
If you like to use your tablet to shoot photos or video, you might want to skip the current iPad models. Mac Otakara, a Japanese blog that has provided accurate information in the past, cites a source that claims Apple's new iPad Pros will come with a triple-lens setup. If true, it means the iPad Pros would get a camera setup that's similar to the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The company has never offered a triple-camera setup on the iPad so this would be pretty big deal if it pans out. There's also chatter about 3D sensing camera sensors. Korean website The Elec claims the iPad Pro will get 3D sensing rear cameras with a refresh in 2020. Ming-Chi Kuo also believes the iPad Pro will get upgraded with a rear-facing 3D Time of Flight camera in the first quarter of 2020. Bloomberg claims the same thing in a report. Renders released by iGeeksblog and OnLeaks showcase these iPad Pro's with the iPhone-style triple-lens cameras. Leaker Ben Geskin recently released photos of supposed cases for the new iPad Pros. The cases feature a large square hole in the top corner that will likely house the new camera setup. If they're accurate, the camera bump will likely be similar to the bump found on the iPhone 11 Pro. So as of right now it looks like the next version of the iPad Pro will come with upgraded camera sensors. If that's music to your ears, think about waiting. | |||||||||||||
