If you want to pre-order, but want to spend less than the MSRP on a copy of the game, you most likely won't have to wait. 

We haven't seen any massive deals popup, but that could change in the days ahead. We might see retailers like Amazon offer slight discounts on Call of Duty: Vanguard pre-orders. 

We often see discounts in the $5-10 range ahead of a game's official release date. Given COD's popularity, we wouldn't expect much more than that.
