12 Reasons to Wait for the iPhone 16 & 7 Reasons Not To
Don't Wait for a Periscope Lens on Base Models
This may not be a deal-breaker for a lot of shoppers, but it's something to keep in mind while you decide what to do. The iPhone 15 Pro Max comes with a new periscope lens which could offer enhanced optical zoom. This is a big improvement from the setup older iPhones offer. Unfortunately, the feature is limited to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the feature could make it to the iPhone 16 Pro, but don't expect a release on the base models. If this happens, it would break tradition. When Apple introduces a new exclusive feature, it typically brings said feature to next-generation models. That apparently won't be the case with the iPhone 16 series which could prove frustrating given the size, and price, of the highest-end model.

The 15 Pro Max is exciting with its long awaited quality 5x lens, but far from being pocketable. I will buy a 16 Pro next year with same specs if its size remains unchanged.
They can manage it easily by shrinking the battery about %10 while some tech enhancement in a year may compensate.
