We've heard a lot about the iPhone 16's hardware, but the software might offer the biggest changes. The iPhone 16 series will be powered by iOS 18, Apple's new operating system which is now in beta ahead of its official release this fall. As expected, the software will carry AI improvements dubbed Apple Intelligence. These features will be limited to the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and newer devices like the iPhone 16. We expect the iPhone 16 to get some exclusive iOS 18 features to help separate it from the iPhone 15 Pro models. Apple Intelligence will likely arrive on board iOS 18.1 in October which means the features won't be available when the new iPhones land in September. | ||||||||||||||||||||

The 15 Pro Max is exciting with its long awaited quality 5x lens, but far from being pocketable. I will buy a 16 Pro next year with same specs if its size remains unchanged.
They can manage it easily by shrinking the battery about %10 while some tech enhancement in a year may compensate.
