Don't Install macOS Sonoma 14.5 If You Haven't Prepared
If you haven't prepared for the move to macOS Sonoma 14.5, you'll want to hold off until you've had time to do so. If you don't know where to start, we've put together a guide that will walk you through the process we use before we install new macOS firmware on our Macs. If you don't have a ton of time to devote to the pre-installation process, be sure to backup all of your data. Data loss issues are rare, but if you store sensitive data on your computer, you'll want to make sure it's safe and sound before moving to the latest operating system.

I have a 2019 27″ iMAC with an i5 processor- not cutting edge but hey. Sonoma 14.4 gives me new problems: 1). If I put a windows App on full screen the top of the pages dissapears behind the Apple conterol bar such that I can no longer access the windows tabs. 2). Also If I (Command Shift 4) to copy a screen image to e.g. paste into eMail then the dreaded spinning spectrum of hung system comes up every time. Not impressed with the new Op-system so far!
