If you often find yourself looking for your AirTags or other accessories, and you missed macOS Ventura 13.1 and newer, you'll get an upgrade to Find My in macOS Ventura 13.6.7.
macOS Ventura 13.1 brought an extremely useful enhancement to the popular Find My application on Mac devices. You can now use the play sound function in the app on your Mac to help you pinpoint the location of lost AirTags, a AirPods Pro (2nd generation) case, and/or Find My network accessories. Prior to the release of macOS Ventura 13.1, this was only possible in the Find My apps on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
In order to use this function, first open up the Find My app on your Mac. Once there, click on the Items tab and then find the accessory you're looking for and use the "Play Sound" option. |
