While the new iPad Pro will reportedly bring some exciting changes (5G, mini-LED, new processor), it might share a lot in common with the current models. We aren't expecting any major design changes. Don't expect Apple to miraculously bring back the 3.5mm headphone jack and don't expect it to come with a foldable display. A report from Japanese blog Macotakara states that Apple's new iPad Pro will keep the same display sizes and form factor with some minor tweaks. Tech blogs 91mobile and MySmartPrice have released alleged CAD images of the upcoming iPad Pro. And while there are some minor tweaks, they appear to share a lot in common with their predecessors. Another photo from Sonny Dickson depicts supposed iPad Pro dummy units and the image backs this information up. Bloomberg also says Apple's "planning a new iPad Pro that looks similar to the current model." So if you were hoping for a massive redesign, you'll likely be disappointed if you hang around and wait for the launch. | |||||||||||
