If you're like me, you hate having to fumble between the huge selection of settings on the Galaxy S7. There are so many, that it can be daunting. Especially when you only use the same 4-5 settings the most.
The first panel when you enter settings is the "Quick Settings" menu, which is basically a shortcut to some of your most used settings and controls. It can be customized too, perfect to your usage habits and needs. Pull down the notification bar and hit the gear-shaped settings button, and you’ll instantly see Quick Settings (the left-most column). Tap "More" near the top right and select “Edit Quick Settings”. From here you’ll be able to select the box for nine of your most-often-used settings. I have things like WiFi and Bluetooth, sound profiles, the flashlight (which we'll mention in a moment) and even themes all in here. It's a good idea to add the controls you need the most. This makes us faster and more efficient with the Galaxy S7. This feature was removed in Oreo, which is frustrating. |

Can I also add my spouse to the fingerprint scan? So we’re both able to use the device?

Google Now gets it wrong so often that it is useless. When did you ever hear anyone use it? Never.

I normally do not leave comments, but thank you for this helpful list! It informed me on things I didn’t know my phone could do, such as the SOS feature.
