According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch 8 will come with several notable health upgrades. Gurman claims the smartwatch may include "new women’s health, sleep, fitness and medication management features." He also says Apple is planning to add a body-temperature sensor to the Apple Watch as soon as this year. The feature would initially be designed to help with fertility planning though he also says it will be able to tell you if you have a fever. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also believes there's a good chance the Apple Watch 8 brings a body-temperature sensor with it. Kuo says the feature was originally supposed to debut on board the Apple Watch 7, but it failed to meet Apple's standards. A highly accurate body temperature sensor for the Apple Watch has been revealed in a newly filed patent which offers a glimpse at what we could potentially see from the anticipated feature. | |||||||||||
