We may also see Apple announce a new budget Apple Watch SE 2.

Two sources, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and respected analyst Ming-Chu Kuo, believe a new Apple Watch SE is on tap for 2022.

Gurman hasn't said what will be on board the new model, but again you can expect enhanced performance. We could also see Apple bring missing health features and perhaps an upgraded design to the budget model.

One thing it won't have, according to Gurman, is a larger display. It will likely keep the same size as the current model. 

One leaker says he isn't expecting a whole lot from the new SE model which means it will likely serve as an incremental upgrade from the previous iteration. 

If you're in the market for a budget smartwatch, the Apple Watch SE 2 is definitely a device you should keep an eye on.
