While Apple's offering an iPhone 13 mini, it probably won't offer an iPhone 14 mini in 2022. Apple will reportedly ditch the iPhone mini series in 2022.

This information comes from respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (and several other sources) which means there's a very good chance this is how things will play out in 2022.

The move wouldn't come as much of a surprise given reports that iPhone 12 mini sales have been disappointing.

According to Kuo, Apple will launch four iPhone 14 models, but there will only be in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch sizes. Leaker Jon Prosser backs this up. 9to5Mac has also heard the same from its sources.

Nikkei Asia believes the iPhone SE 3, Apple's new budget device, will replace the iPhone mini line in 2022.

Leaked iPhone 14 molds from Chinese microblogging site Weibo have also revealed four models and the iPhone 14 mini is not among them. We've also seen leaked iPhone 14 display panels corroborate this information.

This is something to keep in mind if you're thinking about waiting for the iPhone 14 series.
