Make sure you go hands-on with the Galaxy Note 8 before you decide to spend a fortune on the new model and its upgrades. You've also got top big-screen Android devices like Google's Pixel 3 XL. It was one of the best phones from 2018 and it's definitely worth a look in 2020. You've got the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ which have been upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung's One UI. If you are fine paying a bit more for your next phone, make sure you take a look at the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 5G, and Galaxy Note 10 as well. And if you aren't sold on buying a Galaxy phone, you should also take a look at iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, Apple's iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, and iPhone 8 Plus. As long as my Note 8 is up and running I’ll take a wait and see stance on the 9. I can afford to wait until the prices drop because I know it’s going to premiere at or near the $1K mark.
