This could be the Nexus 6P's last update. The company hasn't confirmed Android 8.1.1 or Android 8.2. And with the recent release of Android Pie, any chance of those updates happening is likely dead in the water. The company had said that it planned to roll out security patches to the Nexus 6P through November 2018 which means the December update, and any update that comes after it, is a bonus. As for Android 9.0 Pie, it's now available for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL. It's also out for a few other devices from select OEMs. At this point, with software updates seemingly coming to an end, it might be time to start looking at an upgrade. Google's Pixel/Pixel XL and Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL are still worth a look. So is the new Pixel 3. | |||||||
