If you're interested in 5G, better performance, or a 3D-powered camera, you might want to wait for Apple's 2020 models. Apple is reportedly planning to release 5G-powered iPhone 12 models with some significant upgrades to the processor, design, and camera. One model will also have a smaller 5.4-inch display. The 5G-enabled iPhones will arrive in the fall and they look like they'll take a significant jump from the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and even the iPhone 11 series.

What about 5G? The new technology is coming quickly and they’re saying it will revolutionize the way we use smartphones. As far as I’ve read, iPhones aren’t 5G-ready, so dishing out over a grand for a phone that probably won’t be up to par in a year or so seems like a reckless move to me.
So that’s a third reason to wait ;)
