With Spotify or Apple Music subscriptions you can download playlists to listen to offline. You need a Spotify Premium subscription or an Apple Music subscription to be able to download music.

Just like with Netflix, you need to download the music before you leave. In many cases you will need to download the music over WiFi, so do this before you leave home or plan on doing it on the free airport WiFi.

You can download your own playlists, or you can download the playlists that either of these music services curate for you. Make sure you sign up for the premium version or the paid version of Apple Music to be able to download these.
