These Systems Will Get the Better Together Minecraft DLC

The Better Together DLC will merge Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition, Minecraft Xbox One Edition, Minecraft iOS Edition, Minecraft Android Edition and Minecraft’s virtual reality editions. They will all get updates at the same time and have the same features going forward. Buying something in one of them will unlock that item in the other, and you will have more people to create worlds with.

The transition will be seamless on iOS, Android and virtual reality headsets. The DLC will appear as an app update on these platforms. Xbox One and Nintendo Switch owners will need to download a free version of the new Minecraft to their systems. Their console game saves and DLC will transfer to the new Minecraft for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
