Black Ops 3: 5 Things to Expect for the Rest of 2016
It’s time to look into the future and help you understand what Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 players can expect from Activision and Treyarch during the rest of 2016.
With the game halfway through a development cycle, two DLC packs out and many huge updates on consoles Black Ops 3 is not the same game that shipped last fall.
As we near the end of April, here is a new look at what you can expect from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in the rest of the year, even as some attention shifts to Call of Duty 2016.
During a busy fall of video games, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 arrived on PS4, Xbox One and PC to deliver what is arguable the best Call of Duty experience on this latest generation of consoles.
Black Ops 3 combines vertical movement that is a staple of current first person shooters, with special weapons and powers in a well balanced, fun, fast paced game that scratches the itch many gamers had in 2015.
Some consumers are still longing for boots on the ground Call of Duty, but you shouldn’t expect a major change for Black Ops 3.
As we move into 2016 we want to look at the important details that gamers need to know.
We know part of the plans for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in 2016 and we’ll also blend in opinion and speculation about where the game will go over the next 3 to 9 so that current players and prospective buyers know what to expect from the game.
Although there is also a PS3 and Xbox 360 Black Ops 3 game, but it does not feature a single player mode, updates are slow and it does not get all the DLC. In short, it’s not a game that most people should buy.
As 2016 continues, we want to outline what we know from Treyarch and Activision, what Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 players and buyers need to know about the game and where it looks like the series is heading.
This is what to expect from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in 2016 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

This is bullshit I didn’t spend over 100dollars on a game to be told that some other guys are going to get the chance to have the new map pack 30days before I do. So when I log on to a multi player match the ps4 owners will have all the upgrades and be able to kick my ass. Thanks for screwing over treyarch, assholes.

PS4 and XBoxOne servers are separated. You can not even play against a person with a PS4 if you are playing on an XBoxOne at least not yet. Two different systems two different servers. So you complaint is not even a valid one.

Its funny, Treyarch aren’t even in charge of DLC exclusives. Activision are the PUBLISHERS, they are the ones in charge. To be quite honest I think PS players deserve it, they have not had the chance to play them early whatsoever.

Im a ps4 owner and I know how it feels we have been through this for every cod except this one.Do you think that is fair that every call of duty except bo3 Xbox owners got dlc before we did, let me explain something. First of all your dumb because ps4 players don’t play on Xbox servers so no ps4 player could play against you. Second we didn’t get upgrades we got maps and weapons on the black market that are so rare to get. Third of all you probably don’t even have the game.

Wouldn’t you have preferred that Sony (because I imagine they would know how it feels to not have exclusivity for DLC) be reasonable and just let everyone get the dlc at the same time rather than be petty and be kinda “how do you like it, doesn’t feel great great, does it?”, it just boggles my mind that they could know what it’s like and then turn around and impose the same limitations on other people

@Eric Hansen, Those of us on PS have been dealing with this for YEARS as Xbox has gotten all of the previous DLC’s a month before PS users. About time it’s switched!!!!

Would honestly have preferred if neither company bought exclusive rights to DLC for 30 days. The only people that it affects is the gaming community and I would think that the people making our games and consoles would understand that by now

They really need to fix the hacking, they come out with new weapons, dlc and taunts but you think they could ban some of the hackers? No and its sad because I’m about to switch to Battlefield, yes there are hackers there too… but at least they try and catch them.
