Black Ops 3 Release: 10 Things to Know With 10 Days Left

We already know that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will not include the single player mode and now we know that there is another limit on the graphics for these older consoles. Instead of hitting 60 frames per second (60FPS) like on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, the older consoles will only reach 30FPS. This is according to Beenox, the developer making the version of the game for the Xbox 360 and PS3. From Develop-Online, we learn about this shortage, “I’d say that we tried to hit that target [60fps],” Beenox Creative Director Thomas Wilson said. “It becomes harder when you’re working on current gen platforms.” “We’re basically looking more at something like 30fps. But still, the experience is very enjoyable, otherwise it’s not Call of Duty.” That's not the only downgrade we learned about for the players on older consoles. | |||||||||||

Thanks, I’ve never pre ordered a digital download before I’ve always gone to buy it from a supermarket at midnight so I’m abit sceptical, I will pre order when I’m home from work

The best deal out right now is to preorder the blops3 ps4, but assuming you already have the ps4, i would suggest buying a hard copy of the game and then downloading the season pass. Downloading a game of this magnitude will surely have you regretting it soon enough on the regular 500G ps4.

You have a point but in you have an upgraded PS4 with 2tb HDD like I do I think I won’t be running out anytime soon if you want a physical copy you can always buy one at a later date :)

They are good points, the digital deluxe just seems like the best deal because you get the season pass and giant zombie map for £80, I have a normal 500gb drive but I usually delete games I’m not playing till I need to install them again.
Will the giant zombie map come with the season pass?

A lot of this is rather old news. Just about everyone knows about how the different editions are, how pre-orders work, and even how the bonuses and DLC will be distributed. One thing a lot of people seem to forget, though, is getting a good guide. There are guides for Black Ops 3 that provide a full walkthrough of the campaign, tips and tricks to help you play better in multiplayer, full zombies walkthroughs, and other stuff that will help you get ahead starting on day one. On Xbox 360 I just bought a used bo3 from GameStop and it says the disk is too full and im also trying to download it to the flash drive. Am I required to download it to my hard drive what’s the deal?
