Checks Your Emails and Notes for Appointments

Cortana does more than take voice commands from you. If you let her, she’ll scan your sticky notes and emails for appointments that you need to add to your calendar.

There isn’t much to this feature. With Cortana on, look for highlighted text as you open emails or write in Sticky Notes. Click or tap on those links and she will open Calendar to create a reminder. She looks for sentences where you promise to do something by a certain time or day.
