Fallout 4 DLC: 5 Reasons We’re Excited

Robot Companions

One of my favorite Fallout 4 mods is Robot Home Defense. It allows you to protect settlements and travel around with the various robots in the game. My hope is that it comes to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 when official mods are released.

Bethesda is going to take robot companion ship a step further with its Automatron DLC. The Automatron add-on arrives next month and it's going to deliver robot companions that you can customize and use to defend settlements and much more.

I obviously haven't played it yet but on paper, the customization options sound amazing. You can't tell me having a Frankestein robot with a custom paint job, custom armor, and a lightning chain gun following you around doesn't sound exciting. 

My days of using Dogmeat appear to be numbered. The days of constructing a small army of robot servants appear to be drawing closer.
