Fallout 4 Tips to Level Up Faster
Use Mods | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Fallout 4 mods have been available for PC since the game's release in November but they only recently made it to console. And while many mods are focused on making items or enemies look better, there are also mods that can help you on your journey to level 100 or higher. You'll need to sort through 1000s to find them but they exist. Fallout 4 mods like the Pip-Boy's Cheat Menu can help you level up in no time at all. Others, like the PlasRail, can help you kill your enemies more effectively. We've put together a long list of Fallout 4 mods you should try and you'll want to dig through those if you're alright with moving away from the vanilla version of Fallout 4. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Really didn’t expect tips like “holster your weapon when running” and “use cover” in a “tips to level faster” article. Weird stuff.

Agreed this list is super random.. Leveling up is a necessity in this game as there’s so much you can’t do unless you have the right perk, which you can only get from leveling up, so why do they act like it’s not even a big deal? Weird.

I think I met her. Wasn’t she imprisoned for muling money for a criminal organization that gathers witless volunteers by scamming them with “work-from-home” ads?

Most of these aren’t even tips for leveling up, just tips for playing the game. As for the very last tip, here’s a better one. Invest in the Robotics Expert perk before doing Automatron. It gives you the ability to hack robots and make them shutdown or self destruct, and later down the line you can even make them attack for you.

I’m level 125 now and i’m missing my main trick in this list; Vegetable Starch!
Get your settlements to produce: water / tato / corn / mutfruit, as much as you can.
Link all your settlements and every couple of days go to your cooking station and make vegetable starch.
Excellent XP, even at level 125 i get 1/4 – 1/3 level every other day.
Cooking/crafting as a whole is good for XP, always buy fertilizer and make as much fireworks as you can. I also make lots and lots of caltrops, they dont give much XP (and are a lot of buttonclicks..), but since they only cost 5 steel each, and steel can be bought in shipments of 250, it’s still good XP in the end, although its a bit much work.
But vegetable starch takes the cake, once your settlements are producing the resources needed you can just sit back and let the free XP roll in ;) i havent found a better way to level..
