Fallout 4 1.4 Update Size + Automatron Size

The Fallout 4 1.4 patch is a big one for the Xbox One and PS4. Not that this comes as a surprise. The update brings a number of huge changes to Fallout 4.

For the Xbox One, the update is 2.2GB, massive for an incremental update. From start to finish, download + installation, it took us about seven minutes to install over an extremely fast connection. (It could take a little longer with this new update out.)

With that in mind, now would be a great time to clean up some space on your hard drive(s) and, if you need to, plug your ethernet cord directly into your console. This could help speed up the download process on your Xbox One, PS4 or PC. 

This is especially important if you're firing up Fallout 4 for the first time in awhile and you plan to install the Automatron DLC. 

On top of the 2GB 1.4 patch, you'll need to download Automatron's files to your Xbox One, PS4 or PC. Here's what you can expect from its size:

- PC: 1.1GB – 1.6GB.

- Xbox One: 1.1GB – 1.5GB.

-PlayStation 4: 1.2GB - 1.7GB.

Something to think about if you haven't loaded up your game in awhile. Some of you might have 3GB+ worth of downloads waiting for you.
