Star Wars February Battlefront Update: What’s New

The February Star Wars Battlefront update comes with a brand new mission called Survival in the Ice Caves. It's not Offline Multiplayer but it's a nice little addition in a free update. EA and DICE have made some other changes to Battlefront's missions including fixes for Star Cards and AI spawn issues. Here is the full list: - General: Both players will now properly see Charge Card pick-ups if Player One is using a 3rd Star Card Hand without a Charge Card - General: Player 2's changes to control settings no longer update Player 1's controls when playing Split-Screen - Battle: Fixed AI Spawn issues on Tatooine - Survival: Wave 10 on Sullust will now always spawn if the player / co-op team dies and restarts the round or if a player picks up a Collectible during the Wave 9 transition - Survival: Partner spawns on Sullust will no longer fail if the currently alive player is in a confined area - Survival: Co-Op players can now unlock the "Complete on Hard Difficulty without spending a life" if one player dies and then waits until the other player completes the wave so they get a free respawn | |||||||||||||||

Adam, the game is not what the fan base wanted at all. While the amount of stuff many fans wanted probably wasn’t within the realm of EA to accomplish they could have definitely given us ground to space battles, offline multiplayer mode with bots (big ones, not the crap they gave us), player customization, more maps, and a single player campaign. That’s it. Not that difficult. If they didn’t want to include clone wars content, fine. But four large scale multiplayer maps? Really? That’s just bunk. If they don’t get their act together Battlefront is going to die.

Yeah maybe, but doesn’t your disappointment about the game only show that you like a different kind of game? Battlefront has always kind of been what it is so yeah… Maybe you should be playing the 100s of titles that do exactly what you mention.

It’s really irksome that DICE is using us all for play testing, and throwing us these “fixes” like this is stuff that shouldn’t have already been worked out months in advance of releasing the game. What a clusterf***. So you want me to play a certain character for hours and hours just so I can have her wear an outfit that should have been in the original release. facepalm, DICE.

So sick of “gamers” hating this game. This game is fun. Period. And multiplayer is consistently packed, so some of us are getting or money’s worth. Play it or don’t, life goes on.
