Galaxy Note 8: 5 Reasons to Wait & 4 Reasons Not To

Last but not least, don't wait for the Galaxy Note 8 if you find something you love right now. There are countless excellent smartphones available today that are comparable. From the LG G6 to the new dual camera OnePlus 5. 

However, another potential reason some may not want to wait is the Galaxy Note 7. Yes, the phone got recalled and had exploding batteries, but it's back and completely safe. Samsung just unveiled the new Galaxy Note 7 "Fan Edition" with a smaller and safe battery, Bixby AI and the latest software similar to the Galaxy S8. Meaning you could get a Galaxy Note 8 type experience for a few hundred dollars less, and love everything about it. 

The Note 7 Fan Edition hits South Korea July 7th so it isn't available for everyone yet. That said, if there is enough interest Samsung will deliver it for US buyers and elsewhere. Consider the Note 7, even the Note 5, or many of the great phones today instead of waiting. 

All said and done, the Note 8 is less than a month away. Well, the announcement is. Pre-orders should begin August 25th, with the phone shipping in early September. Can you wait?
