Both of these phones have two powerful cameras on the back, and how they work will likely be very similar. In fact, they're probably identical.
Samsung went with dual cameras on the Note 9, just like Samsung's Galaxy S9+. They have the same Dualpixel 12MP lenses with a variable aperture, optical image stabilization on both, 960 FPS slo-mo and more. Samsung introduced an all-new variable aperture camera on the S9, and that's what you get with the Note also. What that means is the aperture can change from f/1.5 to f/2.4 apertures for the best possible photo in any situation, speed, or lighting. Just like how the human eye adapts to its surroundings and nearby light, Samsung's camera can do the same thing. Basically, letting in more light for better photos. The camera is experience is likely the same between these phones, so it won't make or break your choice.
Either way, both of these phones will take amazing photos and you'll be happy with either phone. |
