The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are cheap right now, but they could get even cheaper once their successors arrive. 

Once the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ take over top billing, we expect the smartphone market to react accordingly.

We expect Samsung's carrier and retail partners to drop the prices of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ as they position them as budget alternatives to the Galaxy S9.  

If you aren't thrilled with the current pricing or if you simply want to save a little more cash on the Galaxy S8 or S8+, wait for the Galaxy S9 to arrive.
