Google Pixel 2 XL vs LG V30: What Buyers Need to Know
Battery Life & Performance

This next subject is a hard one -- battery life and performance. We're pretty sure the Pixel 2 XL wins here again, but we can't say for sure until we review both devices. That said, based on the numbers Google has a clear win here. The Pixel 2 XL has a bigger 3,520 mAh battery compared to only 3,300 on the LG V30. With the same size screen, the bigger battery will win. Next, the Pixel 2 XL runs Android 8.0 Oreo with tons of neat features and lots of software improvements. It's the best Android experience available. LG's V30 runs last years Android 7.1.2 Nougat and is missing multiple highlight features of Oreo. It'll get the update eventually, but Google's Pixel will always be a few steps ahead. These are two fast and powerful phones, but we gotta give this one to Google.
