If you're planning to download and install the official version of iOS 11 right when it's released, there's a good chance you'll run into download and installation problems.
We've seen improvement over the years but we almost always see problems emerge immediately after Apple releases a new update. We'll almost certainly see long download times, iTunes errors, and other problems plague iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners who rush to get the final version of iOS 11. If you want to avoid these initial problems, you'll probably want to take a rain check and wait it out for a few hours, maybe even a whole day. These initial problems typically iron themselves out by the end of the day.
