Emojis aren't the only promised feature that'll be missing on release day.

Group FaceTime calls were live in iOS 12 beta 1-6, but Apple pulled the feature from the seventh iOS 12 beta and delayed the release until sometime later this year. 

We expect Apple to put the feature back into beta for additional testing sometime after the release of iOS 12.0 and release it inside iOS 12.1 or iOS 12.2 if everything goes according to plan.
