Apple now offers Sign in with Apple to developers, which will allow you to sign into apps and services with your Apple ID.
This requires a Face ID or Touch ID authorization and then you are in. No passwords to remember. You can share your real email, or you can have Apple make a unique email address that forwards to you so that you can easily cut off that access and help prevent tracking across apps and the web. It is not clear how this will work on your desktop if you don't have a Mac, and some developers are frustrated that Apple requires Sign in with Apple if they offer Sign in with Facebook or Google.
This is part of iOS 13, and it isn't clear if you will be able to use it on a device that runs iOS 12 even though it is app based. |
