If you own an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you're probably wondering when you'll hear more about your next major update. Well, Apple hasn't sent out invites yet but it's looking like we'll get concrete iOS 9 details in early September. 

Apple will reportedly host an iPhone 6s event on September 9th. And while the spotlight will be on the new iPhones, Apple will almost certainly announce an iOS 9 release date and iOS 9 features on stage next to the hardware. 

Again, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus should get most of what iOS 9 has to offer though there's a chance that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will come with some unique features that aren't offered on the two current models.
