Apple recently confirmed an iPhone 6s iOS 9.2.1 update. The update will succeed the iOS 9.2 update though we don't know exactly when. We also don't know what will be on board the iOS 9.2.1 update exactly, at least not yet. Apple hasn't revealed a specific iOS 9.2.1 release date and it hasn't outed the full iOS 9.2.1 change log. Beta testers have been unable to pinpoint any major changes with Apple's next version of iOS 9. At this point, it's safe to assume that the iOS 9.2.1 release will come without warning and that it will feature bug fixes and enhancements aimed at improving the operating system. If you want to try the iOS 9.2.1 update out right now, you can thanks to the beta for the iPhone 6s. (Or iPhone 6s Plus if you own one of those too.) Apple's opened up the iOS 9.2.1 beta to the public which means that anyone with an Apple ID can download and install the early software. Beta software isn't for everyone so before you make the move, be sure to weigh the pros and cons.
