We've also learned that the iPhone 6s probably won't be alone. The BuzzFeed report that outed the iPhone 6s launch date suggested that the company will announce a brand new Apple TV 4 at its first fall launch event. The report also left the door open for iPads though more recent reports point to an iPad launch in October alongside an iOS 9.1 release. There's also talk of an iPhone 6c, a smaller version of the iPhone that would take the place of the free-on-contract iPhone 5c. iPhone 6c rumors are flimsy and release rumors range from October to a unknown date in 2016. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus should also be joined on stage by the iOS 9 update that arrived back in June. Apple always announces iOS release dates alongside new hardware and we expect to learn about the iOS 9 release date on September 9th. | |||||||||||
