Galaxy Note 8 & Pixel 2 Will Be Solid Competition

There are also two other potential iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus competitors lurking on the horizon. Samsung's gearing up to launch an Galaxy Note 8 and the company's confirmed the launch for August 23rd. The Galaxy Note 8 should be one of the top competitors for the iPhone 8/iPhone 7s Plus/iPhone 7 Plus (the Galaxy Note 7 was a top rival for the iPhone 7 Plus until it started blowing up) and if you're willing to switch to Android it should be worth the wait. Google's also prepping a Pixel 2 that will take the reigns from last year's Pixel and Pixel XL. The Pixel and Pixel XL were two of 2016's best smartphones and they're worthy iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus alternatives. We expect the second-generation to be even better. Last year, the Pixels went on sale in October so don't be surprised if the new models emerge right around the iPhone 8 launch date. If you wait a few more weeks you'll have a bunch of other options. And who knows, maybe you'll find something you like more than the iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus.
