One of the best apps for listening to live FM radio is the Spirit1 FM Radio app. The only problem though is it works best with stock Android you'd find on the Google Pixel or Pixel 2, or custom ROMS. If you root your phone (like Jailbreak for Android) this is your best bet. That said, it still works with tons of regular Android smartphones. The app is nothing special, and it won't win any design awards, but you'll get real, live, accurate, local FM radio on your phone.
