Apple delivers a new Mission Control layout in OS X 10.11 that makes it easier to see what you are working on without the same level of clutter that you see on OS X Yosemite. The gesture allows you to see the apps you are using, just like on OS X Yosemite, but now you can also click-through the desktops up to and quickly drag the apps you want to a new desktop space so that you can organize your work. Not everyone makes use of the multiple desktop spaces that Apple provides in OS X, but this OS X El Capitan update may bring more users to the feature. | |||||||||||||

Josh, great review and I liked how you cautioned us to wait a little before upgrading. On slide 7/10 there is a transposition of 2 letters in”Appel”.

Hi, thanks for your article, very informative.
I installed El Capitan yesterday but found out that the Mac Book mid 2009 won’t support three finger gestures, nor the two finger swipe gestures introduced in mail. :-(
Haven’t found that mentioned anywhere.

“Great, just an other update” was my first thought. But considering this one hasn’t made my system run any slower (on the contrary, it feels faster), I truly feel “updated.”

Why did I ever purchase Macbook Air I upgraded to Al Capitan and had email problems ever since. How can I manage my inbox mail when Apple delete it before I have time to action it.

John, did you ever get it figured out? I have no issues with Apple Mail, so just wondering if I can help in some way. You have a fantastic computer and any little issue can be easily solved in my experience.

The download will pop up automatically in App store. There is a simple “upgrade” button….and that´s that! Totally free……..Remember the last free upgrades from Microsoft? lol….me neither…..
