The Notes app for Mac in OS X El Capitan is upgraded with Evernote style features that will carry over to iOS 9 on the iPhone and iPad. The new Notes app for El Capitan includes the option to create a checklist, add in URLs, photos and draw and sketch on your Mac. You can also save information from other apps on your Mac like photos and there is a new attachment browser that makes it easy to see the attachments you've added all in one place. With iCloud, the new Notes information syncs to your iPhone, iPad and another Mac. This includes the status of items on a to do list. | |||||||||||||

Josh, great review and I liked how you cautioned us to wait a little before upgrading. On slide 7/10 there is a transposition of 2 letters in”Appel”.

Hi, thanks for your article, very informative.
I installed El Capitan yesterday but found out that the Mac Book mid 2009 won’t support three finger gestures, nor the two finger swipe gestures introduced in mail. :-(
Haven’t found that mentioned anywhere.

“Great, just an other update” was my first thought. But considering this one hasn’t made my system run any slower (on the contrary, it feels faster), I truly feel “updated.”

Why did I ever purchase Macbook Air I upgraded to Al Capitan and had email problems ever since. How can I manage my inbox mail when Apple delete it before I have time to action it.

John, did you ever get it figured out? I have no issues with Apple Mail, so just wondering if I can help in some way. You have a fantastic computer and any little issue can be easily solved in my experience.

The download will pop up automatically in App store. There is a simple “upgrade” button….and that´s that! Totally free……..Remember the last free upgrades from Microsoft? lol….me neither…..
