Next, we want to briefly mention the design. While this isn't too much of a concern usually, there is potentially another big change with the OnePlus 6T that makes the design different, and important. Not to mention the obvious design flaw of Google's huge notch. 

This year the OnePlus 6T has a fingerprint scanner inside the screen. Yes, under the glass display. We've heard rumors of this for years, but it finally happened in 2018 on multiple phones from Oppo, Vivo, and more. It's extremely fast, simple, and secure. 

The OnePlus 6T and Pixel 3 XL both look almost identical to the models they replaced last year. Both phones are big, have premium metal materials, and are covered with fragile glass on the back. Neither have a headphone jack.
