5 Reasons to Wait for the LG V40 & 4 Reasons Not to
Don't Wait If You Can't Wait Until October

If you don't think you can wait until October or November, don't bother waiting around for the LG V40. LG is widely known for launching a phone and then releasing it to the world a slow 2-months later. And with an October 3rd launch event scheduled, we could be waiting until November to actually buy the phone. Even if leaks suggest an instant release around the 5th. According to Korea's ETNews, the LG V40 will get released in South Korea on October 5th. This is a good 40+ days after the Note 9, which they chose on purpose to "ease competition between the two firms." We're not sure they can hit shelves just two days after the announcement. That all said, new photos recently leaked of the LG V40 that say November 16th on the screen. That's a super late release date, and we're hoping that's simply a placeholder, and not when this phone arrives. However, November is long enough after the 3rd event, and actually makes perfect sense given the companies history. Can you wait that long for this phone? If not, get something else right now or wait for the Pixel 3 XL.

It’s a Boombox* speaker, not Boomsound. That’s HTC’s thing.
