The 16-inch MacBook Pro is going to be an expensive purchase. One report suggests the starting price is at least $3,000. That's $600 more than the base 15-inch model, and more than half the cost of a fully spec'd 15-inch MacBook Pro. If the 16-inch MacBook Pro price starts at $3,000 it will be less than the iMac Pro, but still quite expensive. You can count on upgrades to the storage, RAM, GPU and the video card to add up quickly. It wouldn't be shocking to see a fully loaded 16-inch MacBook Pro above $6,000. | ||||||||

Thanks for this info! My older MacBook Pro was stolen last week. I’m working on a borrowed computer for now, calculating whether I can and should hold out for a new 16″. Hoping it’s available soon! Seems worth it for me.
