Samsung's Galaxy S7 Nougat update went through a beta and that beta helped it squash some problems ahead of the official release. That said, problems have slipped through the cracks so you'll want to be as prepared as you possibly can. Some of you will get through your move to Android 7.0 Nougat without any scratches. Others will run into problems. Some of these issues will be minor, others will be major. It's the nature of the beast. While you wait for your update, we highly recommend getting familiar with fixes for the most common Samsung Galaxy problems. Many of the problems that popped up in Marshmallow popped up again with the Nougat release. Just check the Samsung Theme Store and download a black-based theme. I understand you, I had the same problems with the white interface, so I downloaded a black-based theme from the Samsung Theme Store. Should work for Nougat, too. (tip: aim for a simple theme, like the ones made by “Kendi” who are named “Material Black” or “Touchwiz black”: they’re the black version of the standard Samsung interface, only with black background).
