An official Galaxy Note 8 Android 10 update is unlikely, but it's still important to get familiar with Android 10 and One UI 2.0. This is especially true if you plan to manually install an unofficial version of Android 10 on your Galaxy Note 8 or if you plan to upgrade to a newer Galaxy phone in 2020. Newer models, like the Galaxy S20, will run Android 10.

We always recommend getting comfortable with new firmware, particularly firmware that's as big as Android 10, before installing it. This way, you aren't caught off guard by the changes. 

Samsung's version of Android 10 brings some big changes to Galaxy smartphones including a bunch of tweaks to the user interface. 

The user interface looks a bit different than the One UI on Android Pie and some of these changes could confuse you if install the software blindly.
